IT Technician (3rd Line)
Salary: £28k – £32k
Hours: Full time

As IT Technician (3rd Line), you will be the final point of escalation for all IT issues raised by customers or our clients Kaseya monitoring system.
You will often undertake IT infrastructure projects, from conception to completion, as well as providing assistance to the I.T Services Manager when required.
The successful candidate will also be providing IT solutions and support to SME customers, either as part of a small team or alone. This will be a mix of remote working from the office and field-based visits.
You must be able to commute to the office just outside Market Harborough, and hold a full, valid U.K driving licence for field-based visits.
IT Technician (3rd Line) Skills and Experience
It is essential that the IT Technician is able to resolve issues showing professionalism, knowledge and confidence to meet customer expectations. You should already have the skills and experience to be comfortable with solving the most complex IT problems.
Ideally, you will come from, or have a good understanding of the concept of a Managed Services business.
Candidates will be required to demonstrate strong third line support, and project implementation exposure to most of the following:
- Windows Server 2008-2016
- Windows 7-10 Workstations
- Office 365 / including Exchange Online
- Exchange 2010-2016
- Thorough understanding of networking fundamentals (IP, Firewalls, NAT etc)
- Configuration of mobile devices
- Project design and migrations
- Hyper-V virtualisation
- Remote Desktop Services
- Managed Endpoint Protection
- HP or Dell servers
- SAN and NAS storage
- Backup & DR solutions

The issues were costing us a lot of downtime, and money. We called Apograph at 9:45 in the morning, and by 16:00 that same day they'd visited us, assessed the problems, put a plan in place to resolve them all, and sent someone to attend the site to sort out the most pressing issues.
